Dr. Prestwich has successfully raised over $40M in non-dilutive funding through foundation, federal, state, local, and university grant programs for basic research at and applied research in his university laboratories for over 50 years. In addition, he has helped raised millions of dollars in dilutive funding for over ten startup companies, both ones he co-founded and ones for which he consults, over the past 20 years. He regularly advises new principal investigators at companies and universities,  providing critical tips on best practices in securing grant funding for innovative research projects and for translating technologies into products.
