A cross-examination in a deposition differs from one in a courtroom. In a deposition, you are cross-examined on your Report. Think: “Yes, but….,”  and then explain. Finish your testimony, and don’t allow interruptions.  In contrast, in court the judge may insist on Yes/No answers. Don’t be argumentative! Be consistent with your deposition, and be the same nice person you were on direct. Your attorney will elicit explanations and clarifications on re-direct. © Clear Solutions Biomedical LLC
